End of week 3

Well it’s the end of week three, and as promised I will post my progress for the week.

Mon.  1420 cal.

Tues. 1235 cal.

Wed. 1749 cal.

Thurs. 1150 cal.

Fri. 1685 cal. (50 min. cardio)

Sat. 1700 cal.

Sun. Not sure=(  Went to a girls afternoon and we all brought an appitizer to share!  I had a little bit of everything, and I’m going to estimate @1500 cal-1800 cal.

Well I disapointed myself this week with the exercise!  I think that it is so easy at first to get up and running so to say, but as you progress, the motivation seems to die down.  My goal this week is to work out at least 3x. 

My friends and I got together today for some girl time, we all brought an appitizer and grrr mine was the only one that was healthy!  I brought califonia rolls (sushi) and a salad, which I should have stuck to!  But I didn’t=(  I had a little bit of everything!  But if I am looking at the positive end I ate A LOT less then I would have a month ago.  I was concious about how much I put on my plate.  It’s so hard when you have events like this and your “skinny” friends are chowing down!!!  lol, they make it look so easy! 

So to sum things up I averaged 1534 calories per day this week, and I worked out one time.  I weigh in tomorrow, and I hope that the scale reads 195! lol, ok I know wishful thinking, I have to change my mindset and be happy with a pound of weightloss!  I will post my results tomorrow!  I can’t wait to strip down and step on that scale, I hope to once again be dancing in my underpants!!! 

And buddys please don’t let me quit, if I ever seem like i’m going to please give me a kick in the a$$!!!  You have my permission, lol.  Goals for week 4:  Average 1500 cal. for the week, and workout at least 3x.

    I know what you mean about the getting up and running part. I’m sort of hitting that wall to. It’s like the honeymoon period is over. LOL! Let’s get our butts in gear girl!!

    Wanna hear something crazy and super weird? Me and my older cousin used to be a lot heavier when we were younger. Growing up, she dropped a ton of weight and I just kinda stayed at the heavy size. I was SOOO depressed! I asked her what she does. She said, “You know, Tabb, I dont stress about it. I eat! I eat when Im hungry. But if Im not hungry, I dont eat… And thats about all I do to control my weight loss!”

    I was SOOOOO mad! I didnt get it. She ate pb&js like it was her job. White bread at that. And drank tons of sugary juices and sodas. GRRR!

    But then I tried not stressing. Just being healthy and trying to feel better on the inside. To my amazement. I started losing weight!

    I realized you just have to be you. You cant stress about stupid things, and worrying what the scales gonna say. Just make sure you feel good. You have to allow yourself some room to “cheat”. And I ” ” cheat because you still have to do it in moderation. Ya know?

    Girl, you did sooo good!!! About 1500 cals a day!? That is some serious cutting back. I know for sure, that even just cutting your cals down that much can be hard and strenuous and add in exercise. Its so hard! But I bet you had a good time at your girls night didnt you? I know you didnt wanna cheat, but it was well deserved. And youre back on track now! Dont be so hard on yourself! Youre doing so well.

    Giving yourself a mini treat every once in a while isnt a bad thing. I know it feels like youre doing the worst thing in the world. But it kinda makes you wanna be better and get right back on track. So just look at it as a way to motivate yourself.

    You are doing awesome. Just like you Have told me It will show! We will make this work. I weigh in again on Thursdayand I am hoping to be under 260! We will see. We all hit plateaus at times though and when we do we have to change up our routine a bit. Say add a few calories to a meal or two, or add an extra 10 minutes of exercise. I am having the hardest time with the exercise portion. I go to school full time for nursing and also work full time at the hospital. I just dont know when to exercise. Whats bad is we have a treadmill in our garage, granted it is way to cold to be out there. Hang in there girl! We will make it!
